ROS 2025 Registration Fee

from $40.00

This registration fee reserves your spot in our Richmond Open Studios, Sept 6-7, from 11-4 pm. Please note that your registration won’t be complete until you’ve filled out our studio registration form and paid the $40 fee.

Participation on our Made in Richmond exhibition requires a different form.

Pay It Forward
If you can afford it, you can purchase an additional registration fee that an artist who needs it can use. You will receive an email notice when it gets used. If it doesn’t, we will also let you know, and you may let us know whether to roll it to next year’s open studios, donate it or reimburse it.

What We Ask of Artists

  1. You commit to selling your own work and if selling merchandise, it needs to have your own designs

  2. You commit to being at your studio or table in person, from 11-4 pm

  3. You commit to promoting ROS and its exhibition, Made in Richmond

  4. If after you register you end up having a medical emergency and must close up shop on the day of ROS, please let us know as early as you can at contact@visualartistsofrichmond.org We will try to appease your fans, but you will have to post a sign in front of your studio or home.

Buyer Beware
Keep in mind that Richmond Open Studios is not a part of, or connected in any way to the East Bay Open Studios (EBOS). You are not registering for the East Bay Open Studios!

Cancellation Policy
We will reimburse the registration fee all the way to July 20 at 5:00 pm. After that date we won’t be able to reimburse your fees.

Registration Confirmation
If after you submit both items you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hrs, please email us at contact@visualartistsofrichmond.org

Please do not register if you are not sure your studio will be open during the dates and times for Richmond Open Studios. We expect you to be open and present from 11-4 on the days you committed to. If you have a medical emergency and must close up shop, please let us know at contact@visualartistsofrichmond.org

Open Studios are successful when artists promote them. For ROS to survive, we need all registered artists to announce their participation in social media and their website as early as possible.

We got rid of late fees! But that means you need to register early to help us plan all the logistics.

All participating artists need to register regardless of their studio or table sales configuration. We are not able to offer group registration at the moment.

We are a member of Intersection for the Arts. Intersection for the Arts is a historic arts nonprofit that provides people working in arts and culture with fiscal sponsorship and resources to grow.
