ROS 2026 Registration Fee

from $80.00

This registration fee reserves your spot in our Richmond Open Studios, Aug 8/9 & 15/16, from 11-5 pm. Please note that your registration won’t be complete until you’ve filled out our studio registration form and paid the $40 fee.

Participation on our Made in Richmond exhibition requires a different form.

Pay It Forward
If you can afford it, you can purchase a $120 registration that will allow an artist under 25 to register. You will receive an email notice when it gets used. If it doesn’t, we will also let you know, and you may let us know whether to roll it to next year’s open studios, donate it or reimburse it.

What We Ask of Artists

  1. You commit to selling your own work

  2. You commit to showing your fine art, in addition to any merchandise you display. If selling merchandise, it needs to have your own designs.

  3. You commit to being at your studio or table (no proxies), from 11-5 pm on each of the days to which you have committed.

  4. You will let us know ahead of time if you are ill and in need of canceling. We will reject the applications of no-shows in 2027.

Cancellation Policy
We will reimburse the registration fee all the way to Monday June 15 at 5:00 pm. After that date we won’t be able to reimburse your fees.

Registration Confirmation
If after you submit your application you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hrs, please email us at contact@visualartistsofrichmond.org

We are not a non-profit. We are a small group of artists who does not receive help from the City or any other help besides a $2,000 grant from AretsCCC. We depend on donations, sponsorships and registration fees to make this happen.

Open Studios are successful when artists promote them. For ROS to survive, we need all registered artists to announce their participation in social media and their website as early as possible.

All participating artists need to register regardless of their studio or table sales configuration. We are sorry we are not able to offer group registration at the moment.

Artists under 18 may participate together with their parent or guardian, and they must use their parent or guardian’s email or phone number for communications.
