Maybe you are not an artist, but you love that we are advocating for ourselves. Maybe you are worried that artists are moving out of the Bay Area to find affordable places to live. Or maybe you’ve seen our sculptures, paintings, murals and installations in Richmond and want to do more to support us. If this describes how you feel, you are a Visual Artists of Richmond supporter.
Why Donate?
Because this is a volunteer-led effort, your contribution will go directly towards our two programs, our artist gatherings and our Richmond artist directory.
This website, its directory, and the spaces in which we hold artist gatherings are funded through the generosity of people like you.
We are a member of Intersection for the Arts, a historic Bay Area non-profit that provides people working in arts and culture with fiscal sponsorship and resources to grow.
How to Donate
Visual Artists of Richmond is fiscally-sponsored by Intersection for the Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which allows us to offer tax deductions for your contributions.
Online Donations
Use the button above. You will receive a confirmation email. Letter are sent to donors of $100 or more.
In-Person Credit Card Donations
We prefer checks, but if you need to use your credit card, we can accept them.
Check Donations
Please make checks payable to Intersection for the Arts, and write Visual Artists of Richmond in the memo line. This ensures that you’ll receive an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes, and your donation will be available for our project.
